 | | Milwaukee's Hottest Cover Band! | | E13 was formed by four friends in Milwaukee in late 2005. All four of them grew up playing music. Between them they have more than 50 years of music experience. (Read each of their bio's below) After the four played a few jam sessions together they decided their combined talent needed to be used for more than just fun; it needed to venture outward. With 4 days of prior notice, the guys were asked to play their first show for a friend in the Third-Ward in downtown Milwaukee. That first show generated so much praise and attention from the crowd, all suspicions were confirmed; E13 would make a name for itself.
With their versatility, wide range of music, stage presence, energy, and talent, the band quickly drew great attention from businesses, organizations, city officials and major venue owners in the Greater Milwaukee and Chicago-land areas. E13 set the 2005 record attendance for any band at BBC on Milwaukee's east side. In 2006 the band played major shows for different corporations and the City of Milwaukee such as Riversplash, (which is the largest Milwaukee festival outisde of the Summerfest grounds). The band took a short hiatus in 2007 when both Jim and Nick got married and Nick had his first child. The band took that time off to revamp and expand their already diverse and impressive set-list.
In November of 2007 E13 got back in the saddle and played to a packed house at LIVE on North Ave reminding everyone why E13 has become one of the hottest, and most popular cover bands in Wisconsin. Since their comeback show, they have had no less than a full house at every performance. In fact, their first 2008 show at LIVE was yet another venue record for any band in the history of LIVE with a fire-code capacity attendance for the majority of the night. In December of 2008 the band played a show for The House of Harley and was quickly named their "House Band" The band looks forward to this 2008 year working with The House Of Harley.
Their summer calendar has already begun filling up with shows.
